About this event
Ron Greenberg
Show Title: From Wildlife to Landscapes Across Two Continents
Bio: Ron Greenberg purchased his first SLR camera in 1974 and has loved taking landscape photographs ever since. He has had many opportunities to capture great images with his extensive travel both domestic and international since that time.
Now armed with a Full-Frame Mirror-less Interchangeable-Lens Camera, he is creating fine art on a commercial basis. Some of the locales he has photographed include Botswana, Italian, Swiss and French Alps, Croatia, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Greece, Germany, the Netherlands and numerous National Parks in Utah, Arizona and California.
In 2016 and 2022 Ron had successful gallery shows at the Sand Lake Center for the Arts in Averill Park NY. He has also been a contributor in group shows by the East Bank Arts Alliance and the Albany Center Gallery, both in upstate NY. In October 2025, he was the guest presenter at the Albany chapter of the ADK on Photography.
Statement: Photographic art should be both a thing of beauty as well as a driver of emotions. Emotions would include pleasure of viewing a gorgeous landscape or wild animal, the desire to visit a location, memories if the viewer has been to the location and a general desire to learn more about the world. The landscape or wildlife can be dramatic or informative or just plain fun.
I have been fortunate to have the ability to visit numerous locals around the globe and love to share the beauty that I have experienced with others. Another show at the SLCA would be a fantastic mechanism to continue sharing my newest work in the Capital District.
