About this event
Due the Covid pandemic AAAA meetings are virtual. Link will be sent to club members.
The Albany Area Amateur Astronomers (AAAA) is the local group of astronomy enthusiasts that foster public interest in astronomy. The organization has nearly 150 members of all astronomy skill levels- from night sky gazers all the way up to professional astronomers. Club meetings are a chance for astronomy enthusiasts to chat and hear a short talk in the field of astronomy or telescopes. Club meetings are free and open to the public, all are welcome!
A Note on Meeting Cancellations during Winter Months
Remember that bad weather may force a meeting cancellation. If the miSci Museum is closed, the meeting is canceled. Most of the local radio and television stations have on-line listings of closings, or check with the museum (518-382-7890). We will announce cancellations on the club and Rising Star Yahoo groups (astro_albany and risingstar) as well.
