Alcohol Inks on Tile with Kris Woodward

About this event

Unlock the bold, fluid magic of alcohol inks in this colorful, hands‑on workshop. You’ll experiment with brilliant blends, flowing effects, and expressive mark‑making as you transform ceramic tiles into vivid works of art. This medium is all about play, movement, and discovery—perfect for artists who love exploring new techniques. Kris will demo a variety of approaches, from dropping and dripping to spattering, scraping, and stamping. You’ll learn how to blow ink with canned air to create petal‑like shapes, use alcohol markers for mosaic effects, and paint scenes with brushes for more controlled detail.

Whether you prefer bold splashes or delicate patterns, this workshop gives you the freedom to explore, experiment, and create stunning tile art that reflects your personal style. Come ready to play with color and discover just how exciting alcohol inks can be. Supplies are not included. A PDF supply list is available in the workshop description
