About this event
Enjoy FREE admission to the Albany Institute of History & Art for First Friday! π In addition to free entry, the event will celebrate the opening of the Albany, c. 1776 exhibition with a special performance from the Village Volunteers Fife and Drum Corps πΆ and a cash bar serving colonial punch to celebrate the sounds and tastes of the eighteenth century.
Weβll meet in the lobby near the main entrance at 5:30 PM and hang out until it ends at 7:00 PM. If the band is in the lobby, we will instead meet at the landing at the top of the stairs near the bar. If we havenβt met yet, I have pink hair.
If youβve never been to the Institute, now is your chance to check it out. In addition to viewing Albany, c. 1776 and learning about the key role Albany played in the formation of the US, Mexico Masks/Rituals is now open and worth exploring, too.
The event starts at 5, so you can go earlier if you are able! After 7, folks who are interested may want to head over to Lark Street to check out other First Friday activities.
