About this event
The US and China operate the largest space programs in the world, with crewed space stations and thousands of satellites in orbit. Both nations are also advancing plans to land astronauts on the moon by 2030, return the first-ever samples from Mars and unlock the greatest mysteries of the universe. Is there a strategic competition in space?
Dr. Patrick Besha is the founder of the Global Space Group consultancy and is on the faculty of Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service. For over 2 decades in government, he served as the Senior Policy Advisor in the office of Administration @ NASA Headquarters and received the NASA Exceptional Service Medal.
Please note that there will not be a recording for this presentation. Please come and hear him, in person, in the cozy Emeritus Center.
