- ➤ Firefighters battled a fire early Sunday morning at Unity House’s Kathryn Allen Building on 102nd Street in Lansingburgh — the roof collapsed and no injuries were reported as crews worked until 9 a.m. while the cause remained under investigation. Times Union

- ➤ The state Department of Health reported 4,546 flu hospitalizations during the week ending Dec. 27, setting a new record. Officials urged residents to get their flu shots as vaccination rates, especially in the Capital District + Hudson Valley, remain low. Times Union
