- ➤ The owners of Taste of Italy have purchased Risotto on Northern Boulevard and will transform it into Grazie, a full-service Italian restaurant. Renovations are underway and they expect a spring opening with a new liquor license + an expanded menu. Times Union
- ➤ AngioDynamics will cut 54 jobs at its Glens Falls and Queensbury facilities beginning Feb. 27 due to contract loss (affecting nonunion workers) in Warren County. The move is part of a plan to close both sites over two years to save $15 million by 2027. Times Union

- ➤ Schalmont students shared insights on career paths at a career fair where they presented details on education requirements and salary expectations. They engaged with faculty & local professionals during the event. NewsChannel 13

- ➤ On Tuesday, residents in an Albany neighborhood lost water for several hours after a water main break occurred at North Allen and Bradford Streets. The DPW shut off water to a West View Towers building and sent crews who remained on scene until 8:30 p.m. to fix the issue. WRGB
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Area hospitals increased staffing and opened flu units as they brace for record hospitalizations during one of the worst flu seasons in decades. Dr. Steven Hanks (CEO of Trinity Health New York) said a vaccine mismatch has driven the surge, prompting urgent measures for at-risk patients. WRGB
- ➤ Governor Kathy Hochul announced Tuesday in her State of the State address that she is pushing for bills to protect vaccine access by letting the Health Commissioner work with medical organizations to set immunization requirements for schools, clinics and insurers. The proposal aims to reduce confusion and strengthen public health. WRGB
