- ➤ Last week, UAlbany expanded its global academic network during a trip to India by partnering with Ramaiah University & signing memorandums with IIT Bombay and IIT Hyderabad. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Governor Hochul declared a state of emergency on Friday as dangerously cold weather and snow are expected to affect the region. Residents should prepare for hazardous conditions and possible power issues (state officials urge caution). WRGB
- ➤ Albany officials are prepping for the season's first major snowfall as dangerous cold is expected to cause road hazards and put vulnerable residents at risk (seniors and homeless). The county will shift to remote operations on Monday and emergency crews are ready to deploy over 50 pieces of equipment. WRGB
