- ➤ The Free Store finalized a $3.1 million purchase of the 14,600 sqft former Rite Aid building on Hoosick Street (Troy) and plans to open its donation-supported outlet later this spring. Sarah Brilya will manage the new store as it prepares to serve local donors and shoppers. Times Union

- ➤ The Daily Gazette in Schenectady will acquire the Adirondack Daily Enterprise in Saranac Lake, the only daily paper in the Adirondacks, and more details are expected later (publisher John DeAugustine confirmed the deal). Times Union
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ The Selkirk terminal (TEPPCO) that supplies propane to local homes and businesses is maxed out, signaling high regional demand. TEPPCO will review its operations to manage capacity as the need for propane continues to grow. The Daily Gazette
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Shenendehowa Central School District said a coach was under investigation after a racially sensitive incident with a student-athlete on Tuesday evening as the athletic director worked with families to provide support (with available counselors) while the coach was kept from team contact. - ➤ UAlbany signed agreements with Korea University, Sejong; Hanyang University; and Seoul National University on Feb. 11 to launch research in semiconductors, electronic device fabrication, carbon-neutral technology and quantum science. - ➤ Shenendehowa School District in Clifton Park is investigating a racially sensitive incident between a coach and a student athlete. The coach will not have team contact while officials work with the athletic director and families to provide support. NewsChannel 13

- ➤ State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli urged New Yorkers to reclaim unclaimed funds—available from uncashed checks, unused gift cards, insurance payouts and refunds—through a fast-track program on National Unclaimed Property Day.
