- ➤ The New York State Military Museum is restoring the 7-foot by 25-foot 'Benedict Arnold, Triumphant at Saratoga' painting for display in 2027 to mark the Battle of Saratoga's 250th anniversary. Conservators in Livingston will repair and re-mount the artwork using $30,000 from the museum’s friends group. Times Union

- ➤ A water main break has affected a Colonie neighborhood near Vics Court and Mayhall Street, and officials say water may be turned off for a while while Public Works restores service. Residents are advised to run tap water for 10 to 15 minutes to clear discolored (but harmless) water. WRGB

- ➤ Mohawk Hudson now charges $50 for spay/neuter services for income-qualifying cat owners in the Capitol Region after receiving a donation; the reduced rate helps local pet owners care for their cats. Spotlight News
