- ➤ Albany School District’s Special Education Parent Advisory Council held its first annual conference, where parents + caregivers learned about special education rights under IDEA and networked with others for support. WRGB

- ➤ The UAlbany men’s basketball team won 84–61 over New Hampshire on senior night at the Broadview Center (Albany), coming back after an early slow start. They will travel to Burlington on Tuesday for their final regular season game. University at Albany
- ➤ The UAlbany women's lacrosse team lost 12-11 to UConn in overtime Saturday at Joseph J. Morrone Stadium (Rizza Performance Center); the team will shift focus to Colgate in Hamilton and face the Red Raiders on Saturday, Mar. 7 at 1:00 p.m. at Crown Field at Andy Kerr Stadium. - ➤ The Great Danes lost both games of Saturday’s doubleheader at Flour Field in Greenville; despite a strong pitching performance in game two, scoring was limited. UAlbany will finish the invitational tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. against Illinois—hoping for improved offense. University at Albany
- ➤ Kelsey O’Driscoll, a nurse at Albany Medical Center, has been named to Team USA for the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Winter Games and will compete in downhill, Super-G and giant slalom starting March 6. The SUNY Adirondack graduate became an adaptive ski patroller after recovering from a 2021 spinal injury. WRGB
- ➤ UAlbany’s women’s basketball team lost 45-42 on Saturday afternoon at Lundholm Gymnasium in Durham after New Hampshire hit four 3-pointers late in the game; freshman Amaya Stewart scored 19 points and the Wildcats will face Vermont in the America East Quarterfinal on March 5. - ➤ The University at Albany men's lacrosse team lost 15-9 to the UMass Minutemen on Saturday afternoon at Garber Field in Amherst, Mass. They will return to Casey Stadium next Saturday at 2:00 p.m. to face Hobart. University at Albany
