- ➤ Prices for a regular gallon of gas at a local Citgo have risen to $3.39—up 39 cents from last week—with diesel up 46 cents amid global supply constraints; local drivers continue to fuel up despite higher costs. NewsChannel 13
- ➤ The Middle East conflict is in its second week and is driving diesel fuel prices higher in the Capital Region as Triple A reports rates rising from $3.90 to $4.79 today (experts warn local companies may pass on the costs). WRGB

- ➤ Major Sorffly Davius, 46, died Friday, March 6 while serving at Camp Buehring in Kuwait, according to the New York National Guard. The officer—responsible for data systems at the Troy-based 42nd Infantry Division headquarters and awarded honors—is survived by his wife and six children, and his death is under investigation. WRGB
