EDUCATION NEWS

  • New educational guidelines approved by the Board of Regents require climate education for students in kindergarten through 12th grade and will be phased in beginning next school year (2027 to 28).   • Freshman Julia Pike earned Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week awards Tuesday after hitting nine times with three extra base hits and scoring eight runs during a four-game sweep at Mount St. Mary's.
