  • Saratoga County sheriff's deputies arrested a 31-year-old man from Beacon after he crashed a stolen car around 5 a.m. and broke a window to enter an occupied home on Hudson Avenue in Stillwater; all occupants left safely and he was found carrying two grams of cocaine.  Times Union
  • Protesters gathered outside the Albany City Courthouse on Friday to ask for tougher penalties after Christopher Maxwell and Letisha Ellis pleaded not guilty to charges for setting their one-year-old dog on fire in a parking lot—residents voiced strong concern as the case moves forward—.  NewsChannel 13
  • A vehicle was damaged Saturday evening on Kent Street near Ontario Street after shots were fired, though no injuries occurred—Albany Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.  WRGB
