- ➤ Guilderland Central School District has proposed budget cuts to close a $1.8M gap for the 2026–2027 school year (eliminating the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) while capping the tax levy at 3.42% and preserving programs for students. WRGB
- ➤ Residents voted on Mar. 31 to merge their Wynantskill school district with Troy CSD by a margin of 709 to 507 votes, setting the stage for Gardner-Dickinson to join Troy's schools with full transition set for Jul. 2027 (state education officials will share more details soon). NewsChannel 13
