- ➤ Artwork by Jean-Pierre Weill, rescued from a dumpster, will be on sale Friday at Habitat ReStore on Fuller Road in Colonie. - ➤ On Friday night, Albany firefighters responded to 432 S. Pearl Street when a car driven by 57-year-old Lenwood Walker plowed into a building wall around 10:45 and he was extracted and taken to Albany Medical Center for treatment (Walker was charged with Driving While Intoxicated). WRGB

- ➤ Two Albany residents were sentenced on March 25 and March 20 to up to three years in state prison for their roles in a theft ring that stole over 100 items from an Ulta Beauty store in the Town of Ulster—Kamel Pickens led the operation and drove the getaway car during a high-speed chase on the Thruway. - ➤ Colonie police investigated a fatal pedestrian collision early Monday on Loudon Road when Felipa Martinez-Garcia died after being hit by a vehicle near Troy-Schenectady Road—officers also arrested several individuals over gun charges, DWI, robbery and other crimes this week with cases pending at Colonie Town Court and Albany County jail. - ➤ Albany Police arrested Bakeim McCall early Saturday morning (around 2:30 a.m.) at Waterworks Pub on 76 Central Avenue after responding to fight reports that showed he threatened a man with a handgun and possessed ecstasy along with a .22 revolver. NewsChannel 13
- ➤ Police located Fendi, a Yorkshire terrier stolen while leashed outside a store on North Pearl Street, at a home on South Pearl Street where officers executed a search warrant around 1:15 p.m. Friday — arresting a 42-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man on felony charges and reuniting the dog with its owner.
