- ➤ On Wednesday, MVP Arena installed a new solar panel array on its parking garage roof (in honor of Earth Day). - ➤ A young black bear climbed into a tree along Raymo Street + Second Avenue early Tuesday, Apr. 22, drawing a crowd and blocking streets before Albany police and state wildlife officials tranquilized it and released it back into its natural habitat. WRGB
- ➤ UAlbany officials plan to rebuild the campus heating system — a move intended to cut fossil fuel use and help the university reach net-zero emissions after SUNY reduced greenhouse gases by 40%. University at Albany
