  • This Thursday, the Guilderland Chamber hosts its annual Ladies Night Out event at the Colonie Country Club in Voorheesville from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. It will raise funds for Pet Connection in memory of Lisa.  WRGB

HEALTH NEWS

  • A thousand people filled University at Albany lawn today for the 16th annual Out of the Darkness event (raising over $30,000 for suicide prevention). Speakers urged community members to treat mental and physical health equally as local leaders stressed the need for early care.  WRGB

SPORTS NEWS

  • Quinn led UAlbany softball to a 4-3 comeback win over UMass Lowell on Sunday afternoon at River View Field. The team rallied in the seventh inning — turning the game with key hits and strong pitching, and will play final regular-season games in Maine on May 1-2.  University at Albany
  • The University at Albany baseball team was held scoreless as NJIT won 6-0 Sunday afternoon at Varsity Field in Albany — the Danes will play Marist on Tuesday, April 28 at 3:00 p.m.  University at Albany
