- ➤ A 46-year-old man from Clifton Park was arrested by the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office on Sunday morning in Milton — he allegedly held two people at gunpoint with a pellet rifle — and now faces charges of unlawful imprisonment, menacing, and criminal weapons possession. WRGB
- ➤ Schenectady police arrested Cecil A. Toland, 19, on Wednesday, April 23—charging him with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon after Wilfredo Vasquez Jr. died from a shooting on Van Vranken Avenue. WRGB
- ➤ The New York State Department of Corrections said today that social media rumors that Juan Rivera—accused of stabbing Kevin Hall Jr. during Monday's Troy homicide—was let out early are false, saying he left prison on his scheduled date of March 27 after four years and is now held on murder charges at Rensselaer County Jail. - ➤ Shawn P. Flores (46) of Clifton Park was arrested Sunday after officers responded to a weapon call at 885 Middle Line Road in Milton at 10:24 a.m., where he allegedly pointed a pellet rifle at two people and prevented them from leaving and is now facing charges of two counts of first-degree unlawful imprisonment, two counts of second-degree menacing and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
