- ➤ The Waterford Canal Festival will host a three-day weekend of events from May 16 to May 18 to mark 200 years since the canal opened — the festival will include vendor booths, food, live music, boat rides, tours, and paddle events with an opening ceremony featuring the Albany Symphony at 8 a.m. on May 16.
