- ➤ Jahmell Manso, 26, admitted chasing and shooting an SUV along Delaware Avenue—his actions killed 21-year-old driver Davyjian Grier near Stewart’s Shop while a woman and two children were unharmed—and he faces a sentencing in August that could result in life in prison. NewsChannel 13

- ➤ Albany County unveiled veteran banners (11 total) along Washington Avenue in Albany last week to honor local heroes ahead of Memorial Day. County leaders say another group of veterans will be honored (for Veterans Day in November). WRGB
- ➤ The Capital District Transportation Authority named Frank Annicaro its new CEO when he started on May 12 after his long tenure at New York City’s Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
