- ➤ Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple said an 18-year-old was arrested on Friday near Lexington and Sheridan avenues after fleeing deputies with a flare gun modified to fire live rounds that discharged a .40-caliber round during testing—he warned that such modifications pose a serious threat, especially during boating season.
