- ➤ A new memorial in Defreestville honors Robert Bornt, a former DOT worker and fire chief killed in a work zone in 2025. Family, friends and coworkers gathered to dedicate the memorial, which reminds drivers to slow down and move over (a safety reminder) for work zone staff. NewsChannel 13

- ➤ Stacks Espresso Bar opened a new downtown shop at 90 State St today, offering artisanal coffee, manual brewing at its Slow Bar and coffee education programs.
