  • Hackett Middle School's head custodian Timothy Walters admitted living in a room above the school auditorium since October 2025 owing to financial strains and was suspended with pay while an investigation continues — he apologized and is seeking an apartment as the community fully funded his GoFundMe.  WRGB

  • Leonard Durau and Brooks Robson jumped in the triple jump at their first NCAA regional at the UK Outdoor Track and Field Complex in Lexington on Friday—Durau, a freshman, reached 15.03m twice and Robson recorded 14.40m.
