HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ More than a thousand participants gathered at the University at Albany for the Capital Region Heart Walk and Run, with almost 1,500 walkers and runners—including heart disease survivors—taking part in a 5K run and 2-mile walk. The event raised $450,000 toward a $650,000 goal for heart research and honored 15-year-old Darin Vail, a survivor of four open-heart surgeries who now uses a pacemaker. WRGB
