Good morning, Albany.

Troy's mayor proposed a redevelopment plan for One Monument Square to add a 30,000 sqft office for Velan Gaming, park space, underground parking, and restaurant and business areas.

City officials support the plan, and developers expect work to start by year-end (if approved) with completion in two years.

The 518 Small Business Expo will take over the Albany Marriott on Wolf Road on June 14 from noon until 5 p.m.—the event will showcase local products, services, and dining options to help entrepreneurs and engaged couples connect.

The University at Albany Foundation named four Citizen Laureates — Donna and Yono Purnomo, Tom Putnam, and Paul Grondahl — whose work shaped community and academic life.

An awards dinner will be held Oct. 22 at Broadview Center on Uptown Campus to honor their contributions.
