- ➤ Crews rescued a man who fell around 150 feet from an abandoned cement silo in Catskill late Friday night at the Leigh Cement Plant on State Route 9W—firefighters found him 120 feet down and brought him to Albany Medical Center with minor injuries. NewsChannel 13

- ➤ Schenectady's Danny Taylor, owner of The People’s Joint cannabis dispensary at 501 State St., was told by state officials that his shop is too near a school due to a technical measurement error—he may have to move when his license expires next August. - ➤ A 36-year-old Albany man, Daniel T. Grimm, faced charges on July 10 for four counts of petit larceny and one count of burglary after repeated thefts at Market 32 in Slingerlands — he will appear in court on Aug. 8 while on probation supervision. Spotlight News
- ➤ Gregory Milgo, a 46-year-old newspaper deliveryman from Albany on parole, allegedly attempted to cash a $25 Christmas tip three extra times and was arrested by Bethlehem police on Wednesday, July 9 on charges that include possession of a forged instrument and petit larceny—he was arraigned and set to return to court on July 15.
