- ➤ The Albany Fire Department responded to a fire at a vacant house at 451 Hamilton Street (between Quail and Ontario Streets) just before 3:30 p.m. (Sunday) and controlled the blaze shortly after 4 p.m. with no injuries while investigating the cause. ABC NEWS 10
- ➤ Albany fire crews responded Sunday to a fire on the first floor of a vacant two-story house at 451 Hamilton Street between Quail and Ontario Streets+ they had the blaze under control by 4:03 p.m. with no injuries reported. WRGB

- ➤ Wei Lin, a 32-year-old from College Point, defrauded a Coeymans resident of $24,000 on June 6 and was arrested on July 9—he faces charges of third-degree grand larceny, fifth-degree conspiracy and first-degree scheme to defraud. Spotlight News
- ➤ The Albany County Sheriff’s Office investigated an alleged shooting in Rensselaerville near State Route 85 and County Route 6 on Sunday morning when a driver was shot in the arm after multiple AR-15 rounds hit their car — the victim is in stable condition at Albany Medical Center as the suspect’s car fled. - ➤ An Albany man, Galen Cutro-Kelly, was arrested on July 15 after a traffic stop showed he was wanted on an outstanding warrant from a February trespassing case in Bethlehem and is now held in jail for bail jumping—he is set to return to Bethlehem Town Court on Aug. 19. Spotlight News
