ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A motorcyclist died after colliding with a passenger vehicle around 11 p.m. Friday on Central Avenue near Fox Avenue—police said the driver stayed at the scene and investigators are gathering details. WRGB

- ➤ Alan Shaw, a 41-year-old Delmar man on parole after a manslaughter conviction, was arrested on July 24 for a second DWI following a high-speed chase by Bethlehem police — he faces charges for speeding and violating his conditional license and will have a preliminary hearing on September 2. - ➤ Albany Police responded around 6:45 p.m. Saturday to a shooting on Quail Street near Hudson Avenue where a 22-year-old man was shot in the calf and taken to Albany Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries — detectives continue gathering evidence and ask anyone with tips to come forward.
