- ➤ The Barber Lounge in Albany is hosting a back-to-school event that gives free haircuts, manicures, and school supplies to children to ease family burdens. - ➤ A pedestrian died after a car hit them on the Thruway in Rotterdam on Saturday night, and New York State Police said all westbound lanes were closed until 1:30 a.m. Sunday for an investigation. ABC NEWS 10

- ➤ Albany police investigated an alleged shooting on Quail Street on Saturday when they found a 22-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his calf in his car near Hudson Avenue — he was taken to Albany Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. ABC NEWS 10
- ➤ Albany Police investigated a shooting on Quail Street Saturday at 6:45 p.m.—officers found a 22-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his calf inside his vehicle and he was treated on scene before being taken to Albany Medical Center, and the investigation remains ongoing. WRGB
- ➤ A Nassau man named Patrick Walsh is charged with several felonies after he took money from victims in Bethlehem, Berne and Schodack without giving the promised goods and services—causing nearly $50,000 in losses—and he remains in Albany County jail without bail. Spotlight News
