- ➤ Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie, Assemblymember Gabriella Romero and Mayor Kathy Sheehan announced today a $1.25 million state grant to upgrade the Frank Chapman Memorial Institute — a facility set to offer Hood’s House of Hoops and senior lunches. - ➤ Two mother cats and two litters of kittens were found abandoned in Tupperware and a taped cardboard box on the roadside in Troy last week, so Operation Snip rescued the animals and urged residents to spay or neuter pets — the group is now seeking foster families for the bonded cats. ABC NEWS 10
