- ➤ A 51-year-old Delmar man crashed his car on Elm Avenue on Aug.15 when a witness called 911 after seeing his vehicle hit a sign and drive into a ditch—officers found him inebriated with a loaded gun, cocaine and 53 crack pipes on board, and he refused a drug evaluation before being charged with DWAI, criminal possession of a controlled substance and other driving offenses, with an appearance ticket issued for Bethlehem Town Court today.
