  • Community members and officials in Troy gathered to remember 9/11 and honor local firefighters who answered the call at Ground Zero, sharing personal stories including retired Assistant Chief James Hughes' ongoing health challenges. Mayor Carmella Mantello said plans for next year's ceremony include installing a flagpole and a paved walkway at the memorial site—efforts that will preserve these memories for generations.  ABC NEWS 10
