- ➤ The fourth Capital Region Fur Ball took place at the Rivers Casino & Resort Event Center to raise funds for the Animal Protective Foundation, which supports pet wellness clinics, veterinary care, and spay-neuter services to fight pet overpopulation. APF CEO Joe Lisella said the proceeds will provide medical care, housing, food, and other essential services for animals in need. WRGB
- ➤ Town leaders and community partners cut the ribbon on Normans Kill Ravines Park in Bethlehem on Sept. 23, completing new mountain biking trails and installing three bridges that boost access for recreation and emergency response—officials say the 155-acre park now offers safe routes for hikers, cyclists and first responders.
