Good morning, Albany. Here's your local news at a glance for Sunday, the 19th of October.

COMMUNITY NEWS

  • The 15th annual Regional Food Bank Mac-n-Cheese Bowl took place Saturday in Cohoes and drew 1,200 people to Remsen Street as vendors lined four blocks to serve unique mac and cheese dishes—boosting the food bank’s largest annual fundraiser—while CBS 6 partnered on the Backpack Heroes Telethon that offered free event tickets to donors.  WRGB
  • Albany’s Community Engagement Director Maeve McEneny outlined several Halloween events—like a dog costume parade with Yappy Hour and ghost tours—that invite locals to enjoy this spooky season.
