- ➤ An 11 year old South Glens Falls boy named Zane Hrycyszyn donated more than 1,000 toys at the Marine Corps League building in Hudson Falls to help local families during the holiday drive. He collected toys for three years and broke his own record with the support of his grandmother and online donors — and he plans to continue his gift drive in future seasons. NewsChannel 13
- ➤ More than 300 girls participated in the annual Girls on the Run Capital Region 5K at Jennings Landing Saturday as they built confidence and learned healthy habits under the guidance of trained coaches like Emily Heald from KIPP Troy Prep Middle School. The program—open to girls in grades three to eight since 2014—has grown to promote physical activity and social skills. WRGB

- ➤ The Albany Police Department welcomed its new therapy dog O'Shea, who is named to honor Detective Connor O'Shea and join the Therapy Canine Program. The pup was brought in with help from The Seeing Eye — and funds from McVeigh Funeral Home supported his addition. WRGB

- ➤ The UAlbany women’s basketball team lost 52—64 to Rhode Island on Saturday evening at the Thomas M. Ryan Center in Kingston. Graduate student Júlia Palomo Vicente led the team with 11 points as they will host Siena for the Albany Cup on Wednesday, Nov. 19. University at Albany
- ➤ On Saturday, the University at Albany football team fell to Towson 36-19 on Senior Day at Casey Stadium in Albany — Jack Shields threw for 147 yards and Aiden Semo scored his fifth straight rushing touchdown in a game where Towson pulled ahead in the second half.
