- ➤ Master Sgt. Scott Potter, a Ravena resident, is among the first airmen to earn the Army's new Master Combat Infantryman Badge after his work as a combat arms instructor with the 109th Airlift Wing at Stratton Air National Guard Base + his award recognizes years of military service. Times Union
- ➤ Today, Mohawk Honda and the Haraden Family Foundation launched the '12 Days of Giving' initiative at their Glenville showroom + 12 local nonprofits will each receive a $5,000 donation to support their missions in the Capital Region. WRGB
- ➤ The National Wreaths Across America project delivered nearly 5,000 wreaths at Capital Region cemeteries on Monday, Dec. 8 as part of its December initiative. It will also stop at 11 other locations across the state. WRGB

- ➤ Dr. Robert Busch from Albany Med Health System explained that hypoparathyroidism is a rare endocrine disorder marked by low parathyroid hormone levels that lower calcium in the body (often caused by neck surgery) and noted an FDA-approved treatment can help manage symptoms. WRGB
