- ➤ On Christmas Day, the Capital City Rescue Mission in Albany served nearly 3,000 meals by preparing 950 lbs of vegetables, 1,000 lbs each of ham and yams, and 1,500 lbs of stuffing while also distributing donated clothing, shelter, and gifts to those in need. WRGB
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Bo, a one-eyed beaver rescued by wildlife rehabilitator Alexis Broz-LaRoche, now serves as an ambassador for Wild for Life Rehabilitation in Saratoga Springs. Bo visits libraries and schools to share how beavers support the environment + she will appear in January at Taghkanic Fire Company to promote nonlethal flood management. Times Union
