About this event

Join Kristin and Rosa for a shared exploration of ancestral veneration, spiritual traditions, and the creation of sacred space. Drawing from their diverse cultural and spiritual backgrounds, including Ifá and the West African Yoruba tradition, Paganism, the 21 Divisions and its Caribbean spiritual expressions, Kemetic philosophy, and Italian ancestral heritage, Kristin and Rosa will offer perspectives, practices, and teachings that serve as a starting point for your own ancestral journey.

Together, we will explore the significance of honoring those who came before us, the role of ancestral altars in spiritual practice, and the ways we can cultivate meaningful relationships with our ancestors. Participants will be invited to reflect on their own lineages, cultural connections, and spiritual curiosities while learning foundational approaches to creating and tending an ancestral altar.

This gathering is an invitation to deepen your understanding of ancestral veneration, reconnect with your roots, and begin creating a sacred space that reflects your own heritage, beliefs, and relationship with the ancestors.

*Please bring any photos, cloths, or items that you may want to use in your personal altar practice, to begin brainstorming and working with and also an item for the collective altar as well (this will be something you are okay with leaving). In the interest of space, please keep the items small.*

Space is limited, please register online at tinyurl.com/ancestral-altar
