- ➤ Kevin Oberry-Hall, a 20-year-old homeless man with a record of multiple arrests in Colonie, was taken into custody on July 17 for forcible touching near a Walgreens and outstanding warrants—his previous run-ins with police include several arrests for related charges earlier this year. - ➤ Today, the man who fired a shotgun from the steps of Temple Israel in December 2023 will be sentenced in federal court—prosecutors are seeking over 10 years in prison with five years probation as community members search for closure after the incident left them deeply shaken. WRGB

King Jr. announced that the university will join Empire AI on two new projects using a supercomputer from University at Buffalo—aiming to advance research on neurodegenerative diseases.
