- ➤ Teen volunteer Olivia Rose was honored by Albany County Monday for logging over 3,000 service hours at projects such as the South End Butterfly Sanctuary and Youth Court. She was crowned Miss Teen New York and plans to propose a waterfront museum while interning at the State Assembly this summer. WAMC
- ➤ Troy nonprofits have secured a $2M boost through Project RISE to support youth services + expand programs, including developing an online resource platform for community youth, with several initiatives set for early 2026. Times Union

- ➤ New data from the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee showed deadly motor vehicle crashes statewide fell from 766 to 681 from January to October 2025 + upstate crashes dropped from 490 to 420 while Long Island saw a slight increase, credited to safety campaigns and law enforcement. WRGB
